The sun was shining and spirits were high at this year’s Hampton Court Paddle Sports Charity Paddle, which took place on the evening of Friday 25 July. With perfect weather and a fully booked event, guests enjoyed a fantastic evening on the water.
Participants spent up to three hours exploring the River Thames between Hampton Court and Sunbury on kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. After working up an appetite, everyone tucked into freshly made pizza prepared by Chef Asher, a Jamie Oliver-trained chef who hand-stretched and cooked an incredible 50 pizzas on the night.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees and the dedication of the Hampton Court Paddle Sports team, the evening raised an impressive £1,600 in support of our ongoing medical equipment appeal.
We’re incredibly grateful to Andy Wyborn and his team for organising another memorable evening. As Andy shared, the annual Charity Paddle is not just about fun on the water, it’s a chance to give back to a cause close to his heart, one that has supported him, his family, and many of his customers over the years.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event, until then, thank you to everyone who made it such a success!
