This festive season, Kingston Hospital Charity has launched Mission Jingle Bells, a Christmas gift drive to help make sure every adult patient at Kingston Hospital has something special to open on Christmas Day.
While many local groups generously donate presents for children each year, we’re focusing on extending that by bringing that same joy to adult patients who may be spending Christmas in hospital.
A small gift really can make a big difference. Whether it’s a book, puzzle, game, stationery set or non-gendered toiletry item, each donation helps brighten someone’s day and reminds them they’re not forgotten.
Gifts should be new, unused and unopened, and ideally suitable for any gender.
Examples include: books, puzzles, games, stationery, or toiletries.
Food items can also be accepted, provided they are shop-bought, sealed, and clearly labelled, with a use-by date of March 2026 or later — such as sealed shortbread or biscuit tins.
If you’d like to get involved, you can drop off your gift at the Kingston Hospital Charity office, located just to the right of the main entrance at Kingston Hospital (KT2 7QB). There’s no need to wrap – the charity team will take care of that!
Local businesses and community groups are also warmly invited to take part. To arrange a corporate or group donation, please email krft.charity@nhs.net.
