Many thanks to Rachel Aukett and all who contributed to her fundraising efforts to ensure staff at Kingston Hospital are able to access fresh fruit and vegetables during the COVID-19 outbreak.

After hearing about Dawn Bilbrough, an NHS nurse who broke down in tears as she pleaded with the public not to stockpile goods after she was unable to buy fruit and vegetables following her 48 hour shift, Rachel was moved to tears and determined to do something about it.  Initially she gathered together groceries from neighbours and delivered these to Kingston Hospital before utilising social media to mobilise friends and others in the community.  The response has been amazing with over £7,000 raised and fresh fruit and vegetables now being delivered each week for staff at the hospital.
