The hospital has played a central role in responding to the coronavirus crisis and we want to continue to help our staff to provide the best possible care for patients at this difficult time for us all. We have had an amazing response from individuals and organisations from across our community since late March which has meant a great deal to everyone at the hospital.
Supporting the development and wellbeing of staff has always been a key element of our wider programme of helping the hospital to deliver exceptional, compassionate care. A key focus over the coming months is to ensure there is adequate and appropriate resources in place to support staff mental health and wellbeing after a very challenging few months.
