Art for the NHS

Paul Tupling who works for Latchmere School, having previously worked as an illustrator and muralist, created ‘Art for the NHS’ as a way of raising funds to support our staff’s health and wellbeing. His paintings along with part of his existing portfolio were exhibited on the Latchmere School website and were acquired by colleagues and friends who donated generously and helped raise £2,240.

Paul said, “The first national lockdown provided me with an opportunity to pick up my paintbrushes again, probably for the first time in 10 years! As the NHS was grappling with COVID-19, I decided to use my artwork to raise money in support of Kingston Hospital. The response was brilliant and I hope this gift will help ease some of the pressure hospital staff have been under during this winter.”
